Who is Zeus?
Welcome to my blog “Zeus on the loose”. My passion lies in seeing new places and experiencing other cultures. There’s nothing more exciting than heading to the airport, bags packed and waiting for the boarding call in the terminal. Almost as exciting as dropping off your bags at your accommodation and exploring the city by foot. For me, this lifestyle is about living the ultimate digital nomad experience.
The Dream Digital Nomad Experience
Of course, coffee and pastries in hand. My first experience in doing this was when I booked my first trip alone to Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Also, solo-travelling is not weird. On the contrary, it was one of the most fulfilling experiences I ever had. The digital nomad experience never disappoints!
My Digital Nomad Experience
Living in Playa del Carmen for half the year a few years ago was a highlight of my life and would do it again in a heartbeat. Living here can us a taste of what living outside of the USA could be like and we both agree that the a higher quality of life is possible. While PDC was magical, I have been back a couple times since then to revisit some of our favorite places like Isla Mujeres (North Beach), and a handful of restaurants in the area.
My wife and I are looking to go become digital nomads within the next few months and combine that with living a slow travel lifestyle while we work out full time remote jobs. Without a doubt, we are hoping to travel anywhere from Central & South America to Europe, Asia and even the Middle-East.
Digital Nomad Experience Throughout the World
My research highlights digital nomad experience friendly places, including Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras, Portugal, Spain, Colombia, Ecuador, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, and Turkey. However, more options exist; personal preferences matter.
My plan though is to live somewhere one month at a time, and if we truly love a place more than one month. Obviously, this provides several benefits. Exploring the world, travelling slowly takes less of a toll on you physically and mentally and lets you absorb the new environment, better.

Finally, this goal of my website is to provide useful information about living digital nomad experience and everything that entails like ease of entry to the country (visa info), cost of living, language, culture, internet speeds, exchange rates, remote jobs, housing, options for short or long term stays, etc.
